Open Staff Positions

Well first off, hello prospective staff member! Whether you're new or one of our very loyal members, if you want to try out to be a part of the staff, you've come to the right place.

Now since we aren't a very big site, we aren't desperate for staff, so the running to be a staff will be tough, but don't rule yourself out yet. Really, it's a simple process, and soon you may see another name on the sidebar.


The Process:

So, anyways, the process is simple. You will PM me saying that you would want to apply for a staff position. In response, I will send you a short questionnaire, you will answer and send back. At that point I will watch you for the next week or so, see how active and helpful (if help is needed) you are, before sending you a PM saying you've made it or not. I will also take into account your past with us, such as if you've been helpful in the past, active in the past, things like that.

If you are sent a PM saying you've been accepted as a staff member there is still a bit more to go, before you are a complete staff member. You should make an account to be your staff account, and then you will be given a temporary position with limited powers. After a three weeks of testing you out on the temporary basis, then you will become a full-fledged staff member.

Temporary staff are up for the running of Staff of the Month, as they do a good amount of stuff as staff. They will also have their name and a picture of a character of theirs on the side bar.

I do realize that sometimes things happens in life, and that's ok, I will take that into account and not hold it against you. And I do realize that there are times when things get slow and nobody needs approving or help, and no work on the site is needed, and I will not hold that against you either.


So all in all, it takes about 1 month to become a full staff member, and it's really a simple process. I want to have this full process because I've had cases where someone I make staff abuses their power, ruins the board by deleting a bunch of accounts or posts, or something like that. I don't want that to happen here, so if you want to become staff, bare with me, because while you may be trustworthy, many people out there are not.


Duties of each type of staff:
Global Mod - Make sure all the rules are followed, approve applications, make announcements, help with site wide plot planning.
Character Mod - Approve applications; help members avoid a character being or turning into a Mary-Sue.
