The universe is big. It’s vast and complicated and ridiculous. And sometimes, very rarely, impossible things just happen and we call them miracles.
Character Name: Winter Mills
Gender: Female
Age: 9,847*
Species: Futurekind : Unknown
Group(s): Alien, Time Traveller, and Chaotic Neutral
Some people live more in 20 years than others do in 80. It’s not the time that matters, it’s the person.
Strengths: She's immensly clever, and adept at making devices and gadgets that will help her. She can outrun any human, as this was shown in the episodes where we see Futurekinds chasing humans. Winter's incredibly gymnastic, and light on her feet. This is due to the fact she grew up on a mountain top, and has long since found her balance from such things. Winter has a sense of humour, and tends to flirt or laugh her way out of any situation, often times, this attitude will keep worse things from happening. Unlike most people, however, her age has been spent travelling, so she knows more then she often times lets on. She often keeps things in perspective, and has the ability to drain herself of emotion if she desired it so terribly, this can be useful when she must do things, that others couldn't. She's very agreeable, as she is so old that she can recall doing the same thing, for instance, she doesn't judge others for many things that the average person would.
Weaknesses: Winter's insane, with bipolar disorders, as well as eating disorders. Her mood changes quickly, and she finds herself often unable to back down from arguments or confrontations when she is provoked. Winter's pride will get herself into trouble, and her Futurekind host will tempt her to act feral if she gets provoked enough. When in grief, or loss, she hallucinates the person she wants to see the most, and realises this is a hallucination, but continues such things for her own reasons. Winter's morals, and ideals change upon a dime, and she often switches from good to evil with no moral compass.
Likes: Winter LOVES strawberries, in fact, many times they can be used to calm her tempers. She finds others that are loyal, especially to her, to be a rare species, and puts them above others. Winter enjoys a good flirt, and others that pay her any attention. She often times says that she 'has a thing for villians' and she prefers a villian's company to a heroes.
Dislikes: Others who judge her upon her current species host, she finds them to be not worth her time, and will give up on the person entirely, even if it was a misunderstanding. Winter HATES to be told what to do, and will often do the opposite if told directly what to do. She despises to discover that she's been manipulated, and that she didn't know. Winter cannot STAND the idea of imprisonment, she believes that she is to strong to be caged, and despises the idea of such things actually happening.
Overall: Winter is extremly standoffish at times. She is incredibly blunt, and despises politicians because of their tact and supposed grace. She has committment issues, and is reluctant to love another. It takes a long time for her to fall in love, and those she does are always extrodinary. Winter is rude towards those she hates, but can be found having a parental side towards those she cares deeply about. Winter veiws everyone as children, putting herself far above those of a younger age. Winter can be affectionate, and though her loyalties are hard bought, they are nearly permanant. Winter is a self serving narricist until she gets emotional ties to another, she will stay out of as she so puts it 'drama' that includes the other. She finds no inclination to help the innocent until there is something in it for her. When Winter bonds herself to another, she is an extremly devoted thing, willing to fight and do anything for the other. Sacrifice her ethics, kill innocents.. Anything another would not do, Winter would. Proudly.
Winter laughs at those who hold onto ethics, and openly mocks those with a clear concience. She is old, far older then others believe and is clearly an alien. She hurts, deeply. She loves, passionatly. She's not a robot, she's a killer, sure. But she has all sorts of dreams of finding those lost to her and dearly misses those she lost. Winter blames herself for mistakes, and is a definate line for good and evil. If you can convince Winter you are a hero (after so long, she only seperates people into two groups. Heroes, and villians) then you are as you claim. If she dubs you a villian, then you are the worst of the worst. Winter will remain neutral until she sees a point in joining the fray, a villian who will leave her alone, will be left alone in turn. She tend to learn more towards the chaotic side of being neutral, and tends to prefer a villian's company to a heroes, explaining that she doesn't fit in with heroes.
In 900 years of time and space, I’ve never met anyone who wasn’t important.
History: Winter doesn't remember a lot of her own past, and as such, has replaced MANY words or events in her own mind with substitutes from Malcassairo. Hence, why this history is Malcassairo based, when in reality, she's only been a Futurekind for a few years. Winter was dying, mortally wounded from a battle wound, when she imprinted herself upon a random passerby, it went wrong, imprinting her into the child of a pregnant woman, ruining her original personality, and destroying her memory.
Winter's mother was an insane woman who craved attention and power and as such demanded highly of Winter at a young age. She believed herself to be a prophet, and told the infant dark tales of future woes Winter would face. Finding joy in being proven right, she took no interest in the misery of Winter. Insanity struck, and she threw herself onto the top of a high mountain and built a shack there. Insisting the little child take care of herself, and that she would not be fed or taken care of in the least bit Winter learned at a young age she was not to be loved. Over and over, her mother, The Ataashi insisted her child was to be an item, not a person. Calling her a thing, and rarely speaking a kind word. At this point, Winter stopped calling her The Ataashi, and started calling her a variation of the word. While The Ataashi meant Dragon, The Atashi meant Foe.
A mysterious man appeared and gave her the watch, which, in time, Winter learned to imprint herself on it, giving her immortality and Winter has long since forgotten his face. As time wore on, she met and lost many people, even single handedly accidently starting a rebellion in her species that left her amung the few. In her despair, she wandered the wilderness and found an injured woman at the end of a human hunt. The woman, seeing winter gave her an infant wrapped in blankets and insisted in a language Winter didn't understand at the time that Winter was different then the Futurekind. Naming her Ildas, Winter was coaxed out of her grief. Around this time, she was married to a man, Tahras, whom was an assasian sent to kill her, but failed and fell in love with her way of life instead.
A smart woman, Winter found the remanants of a vortex manipulator from one of the time travellers that had died on the harsh planet, he had meant to go farther in time, and had accidently reached the end, it seemed. She rebuilt it, and began to have adventures upon her own, though she always returned to her home, Malcassairo.
Ildas died at the age of five, and Winter forever blamed herself. Several thousand years later, Winter used a perception filter to get into the Silo 16 but once she saw the humans she changed her mind. She instead refused to report back, leading the clan leader to believe she was found out and killed. Winter despite doing her best to help the humans did nothing when they accidentally let in a Future Kind that was sent to replace her. She rewired the Utopia project once the humans (and time lords) had left. Winter then made herself a working space ship, and traveled to the Utopia. However once there she did nothing to stop the humans from constantly upgrading themselves. And instead waited until, they teleported earth (The sound of Drums) she came with, still disguised as a human. On Earth she once again did nothing to stop the danger, or to assist the Doctor in any way. She remained on the down low, never drawing attention to herself. But after the entire adventure ended she came out of her hiding.

Your Alias: Batty
Comments: Age Note – Winter is not in fact, immortal, she imprints her personality and memories, upon a host, hence the large age number. She can die, in fact, but as long as she has the silver pocket watch that she imprinted her personality in, she will merely take over another's body, force them out of it, and take them as her new host.
Winter has memory gaps, and often times her host's instincts will attempt to push out her own. For instance, the real Winter can swim, but with the Futurekind host she cannot.
I ADORE the idea of Winter being a companion, but I won't push her on ANY doctor that doesn't want her. I don't enjoy dramatic, complicated out of character matters, and I will leave the site if I find myself bullied, or ignored on a common basis. I like relationships, but only with characters that go well with mine, I will blantly state if they have chemstry, or not, and if they don't, it's akward, or hard to write for, I'll have to pass.
Doubt I'll make another character here, but if it gets busy, and large, and huge, and awesome in the next year or so, I probably will. I'm rather terrible at writing applications, as you can EASILY see, so I'll include a post of mine as Winter from another site so you can get more of a feel for her character.
Sample Post : The wind whipped past Winter's face, forcing her hair behind her and into a stream line, her bangs stuck to her skull. Clinging, perhaps, for dear life. Winter's hair wasn't long, fluttering wildly in the strong wind, and ruffling against itself restlessly. Winter laughed, leaning forwards with a shark like grin. Her teeth were sharpened and to triangular points, and her eyes were slit like a cat's with white eyes and the scenery around her reflected like mirrors in her eyes.
Madness was erupting around the woman, but still she went head long into the heart of it. Going far to fast down a far to winding road, the roads of Cardiff were not built for Winter. Or anyone like her, seeing a building falling in dramatic slow motion ahead, thus going to fall in path, Winter laughed wildly into the wind, jerking the motorcycle's handle bars to run up the fire escape in a passing thought, not having time for anything else. Wrenching the bars, she didn't lose any of her astounding speed, and with every turn, the back wheel cleared off of the ground itself, landing on the ground it would shoot the bike forwards and up the set of stairs like a bullet from a gun.
It was debatable if she was a good driver or not.
A Weeping Angel had wandered from one of the burning buildings, standing at the end of the escape's stairs, the rooftop directly behind it. Smirking, Winter forced the bike to accelerate even faster, crouching down lower in the bike. The bike moved far to fast for anything but images, but the weeping angel could not move in the slightest. It had stood with it's hands over her eyes, as was the defense.
It now seemed childish, like a child going 'Awe, Hell.' before something terrible happened. Winter stood on the bike at the last minute, jerking the bike itself off of the ground itself completely, landing on the angel she sped off of the angel's back, using the wide spread wings as a ramp. Music shook the world, along with spreading fire, and wide spread screams of terror. Drums pounded the earth, screaming guitars tore the attention of the nearby monsters from anything they were up to.
Excellent.
The rift had come completely open, releasing all of the world's discarded trash into the planet Earth. Not just releasing hundreds of thousands of Cybermen that had been banished into it by a younger Oncoming Storm, but also opened a portal for all of hell to raid the streets.
And they were.
She had to find a way to close it, that was for sure. Winter glanced behind her, to see that quite the portion of the destructive monsters were following her closely. Reapers, after something as old as she was. Daleks, hovering slowly, but doing damage nearby that she completely dodged because of her reckless patterns. Cybermen marched, in perfect step and unison. The bike Winter rode was a skeleton, bowed before her in a stremeline fasion, with motors and wheels attached. Even the skull looked feirce, and Winter drew her attention forwards once again.
Just in time to crash into a office building. Screaming humans ran in chaos, unsure which to fear more, the bike that crashed through their glass walls, or the coming army following her. The tires skid for a second, then plowed through the halways, Winter made snap decisions, trying to keep from reaching the walls of the winding maze. In the end, she picked the wrong turn, and she gave the incoming brick wall a heavy sigh.
Rubble exploded outwards, and the bike landed heavily on the road, bouncing from the landing and screeching 'Damned If I Do Ya, Damned If I Don't'. A shard of glass sliced through Winter's cheek, leaking blood mixed with rain. That was the thing with Cardiff, in the spring time, it was sunshine, then rain, then some more sunshine.
"Hah! Is that all you have got?" Winter planted a foot on the ground, stopping the vehicle completely, looking back at the army that closed around her. She had to say the Reapers almost looked exctatic.
"Nope! TO SLOW!" Winter taunted, letting the rest catch up before she sped off from a gap. She'd learned something from the first 'not crash' of hers. Accelerating to full, she leaned to the right sharply, the bike's side grazing the road to make a turn. Coming up from the turn, the music hit a cresendo and Winter turned the bike sharply to the other half of the road, dodging speeding cars in their panic to escape the fire and explosions. The bike hit a car going to opposite end, but at the last minute, Winter lifted the wheel so that it landed on the hood of the car and used the moving car as a ramp. Flying into the sky, she landed on the rooftop heavily, the engine groaning and sputtering. Shouting out feirce swears, Winter kicked the engine back into life and sped towards a window nearby, just as a laser hit the spot where she was. It was so close that it singed her boot.
Her plan better work!
Crashing through the ware house's window, the army piled in after her. This time, no humans were around, and Winter threw a quick hand into a pocket, pulling out a gernade. Winter pulled the pin with her teeth and threw it behind her carelessly.
The ware house blew to kingdom come. Fire exploding out of the windows, and engulfing any and all of those inside. The shock of the Winter Enhanced Gernade shook the ground and rattled the cars speeding past the roads in the chaos. Winter had built it to destroy everything in it's path. Melting flesh and alien metals alike, it destroyed all in it's proximity. Flames licked the entire building, top to bottom. With a burst, the top most window exploded outwards, spitting out a motorcycle and a mad woman. Landing, Winter sped down the road as the last of the bounces subsided from the heavy landing. It had been her plan to decrease the number of monsters roaming, and now that it had gone well, Winter laughed. Looking ahead smugly, Winter swore heavily and turned the bike so sharply that the right most side hit the ground heavily, spouting sparks and slamming on brakes. The music giving it's final lines, and coming to a stop as Winter did.
She stopped an inch from a man in a red cape, the wheels still spinning, and the last of the fire still on the wheels.
Hell and chaos spread around them.
Notes On Post:Winter's bike (now probably very, very broken) here
Winter's current outfit, singed and cut up a bit here
I highly suggest playing the song, here The louder, the better the effect, as Winter has it on full blast.
I will point out, once again, that Winter WILL be mortal, she won't be overpowered, but she will have incredible fighting abilities (only because she's so old, but I WILL make it fair for the other person, as I know how frustrating that can be)
